Our cotton canvas is gallery-wrapped and available with two fastening techniques: Canvas spline fastening or back-staples. Fastening is a technique that uses vinyl cording to tightly secure the cotton surface to a channel on the back of the frame. It creates a permanently tight hold with a modern finish and hangs flat against a wall.
With back staple fastening, the canvas is tightly secured to the back of the frame with coated staples. This technique allows for future re-stretching, which may be preferred for artists who travel and transport paintings.
