Stretching your own linen can provide more flexibility and control in the creative process, and it can be fun, rewarding, and save money. For those artists who prefer to stretch their own, Signature offers canvas rolls and linen rolls, available as a full roll or by the yard. The cornerstone of a Signature Canvas product is its surface. Our coated fabrics are woven in U.S. textile mills for superior quality. Made for specifically for oil painting and acrylic painting, our 100% cotton duck canvas is woven in US textile mills under ISO 9002 national manufacturing standards. Our linen is acid free and archival quality!
Signature’s exclusive Bright White Oxford weave surface is triple primed with our exclusive chemistry-perfect bright white gesso, giving our fabric the perfect tooth and texture. We also offer linen rolls in either our Signature exclusive acrylic primed linen or Claessens oil-primed linen.
At Signature Canvas, you can order by the yard for maximum flexibility. If you just need 1 yard, no problem. But if you need 100 yards, we can handle that too. You can order your canvas rolls in three widths – 60” 72” and 84”. As an added service we will cut any width you may need for your commission. Just let us know. Rolls of canvas will ship the same day you order.
Rolls of fabric are also available in Signature’s Belgian linen and in Claessens Belgian linen. 60” rolls, 72” rolls and 84” rolls are in stock.
