painting. The finite yarns of Belgian linen are porous by nature
making them more susceptible to varying humidity levels.
Tightly-stretched linen can loosen as the yarn's moisture content
changes - it's difficult to control and always a big frustration for artists,
galleries and collectors. But Signature's new expandable frame ensures
that your painting will always maintain a drum-tight stretch in any
climate or interior room condition.
Expandable frames sold in stores today use keys or pegs. This cumbersome method can throw your painting out of square as the pegs are forced with a hammer into the inside corners.
